In 2002 The Neighborhood Development Foundation (NDF) and its subsidiary Associated Neighborhood Development (AND) adopted the Hoffman Triangle Neighborhood in Central City as its designated redevelopment area. In 2015 NDF entered into a cooperative endeavor agreement with the City of New Orleans to bring back into commence 10 properties that were formally located in the VA-Hospital footprint and placed in the Hoffman Triangle Neighborhood.
